In this video, Khrys and I went with her parents and cousin to the Batangas region to bring aid to the people forced to flee their homes due to the recent Taal volcano eruption. We went to the towns of Calaca and Isidro to visit the evacuee families that were grouped together to wait out the uncertainty of the volcano that was on the verge of causing even more destruction than it already had done. We brought them blankets, towels, food, water, soap as well as other necessities and witnessed first hand the effects of the earthquakes and ash fallout caused by this lava filled giant. We also had a chance to mingle with the families and their kids and share in the joys of real human bonding that such an event can bring.
