Hypnospace Outlaw Boundary Break
~ beyond the edge of the desktop ~ Our engine Construct 2 doesn't have an easy way to do "prefabs", e.g. save a group of objects for easy spawning in the same configuration, so all apps just have to exist outside the bounds of the desktop, at all times, and be moved in and out as a group when needed. There are other methods I could have done this, but due to my own naivety at the time, and the fact that I could only work on this game part-time so I didn't have the time or capacity to make an actual dynamic app builder/loader, this ended up being my solution.
