We all experience seasons of wilderness—times of spiritual dryness, doubt, or suffering. But Scripture shows that the wilderness is not a mistake—it is where God refines, provides, and calls us to deeper dependence on Him. From Exodus to Hebrews, we see how God led His people through hunger, thirst, trials, and testing—not to abandon them, but to shape them. The Israelites longed for Egypt because they still lived like slaves, though they had been set free. Likewise, we cling to false securities instead of resting in God’s provision. But the good news of the Gospel is that Jesus entered the ultimate wilderness for us, facing suffering, temptation, and judgment so that we could be brought into true rest in Him. In the sermon series "Life in the Wilderness", we explore how God’s grace sustains us, His discipline shapes us, and His presence never leaves us—leading us from wilderness to renewal in Christ.
