International Medical Corps is expanding its relief efforts inside Ukraine in response to the war there, as well as in neighboring countries, to provide medical, mental health and protection services to the millions of people affected by the conflict, including refugees.
International Medical Corps has worked in Gaza since 2008, implementing emergency preparedness and coordination projects, and providing primary and secondary healthcare; mental health and psychosocial support; child protection and gender-based violence services; and water, sanitation and hygiene services. International Medical Corps and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative coordinated with the American College of Surgeons, and the World Health Organization (WHO) to develop, distribute and deliver educational content in Ukraine.
