MonchMonch apresenta seu segundo single. ‘’Vampira’’ e seu clipe reúnem referências do expressionismo e do pós punk Em seu segundo lançamento oficial, Monch amplia o conceito de punk mastigado. Após a energética ‘’Netuno’’, é apresentada a doce ‘’Vampira’’. O segundo single do seu primeiro álbum, "Guardilha Espanca Tato" Bebendo de Radiohead e CAN, MONCHMONCH apresenta uma música hipnótica e minimalista que cresce aos poucos, tal como uma maré que te engole sem que perceba. A letra antecipa o clima geral do disco de uma vitalidade comprimida, conceito este catalisado pelo clipe. Dirigida por Marina Mole, a produção audiovisual de ‘’Vampira’’ permite sentir um clima misterioso e mórbido onde Monch e os integrantes da banda se escondem da vigília e buscam fuga. A narrativa foi trabalhada em cima do expressionismo alemão, usando de referência filmes de terror antigos como ‘’Nosferatu’’ e ‘’As Mãos de Orlac’’ para representar o personagem. ''As luzes no campo de batalha do clipe estão sempre se movimentando, e toda vez que algo fica à vista, algo também fica à sombra. Acho que o que isso significa para cada um pode mudar, e a narrativa do clipe busca bem isso, que a pessoa que ajuda a encontrar algum significado disso’’ diz Marina. A capa do single também é de Marcílio Pires (@vivasuarevolucao), que a assina a capa do primeiro single, ''Netuno'' e a capa do álbum. Juntas, as capas compõe um mosaico que antecipa o clima do álbum, "Guardilha Espanca Tato", que sai no dia 21 de Abril deste ano. ''Vampira'' and its videoclip bring together post punk and german expressionism references In its second official release, MONCHMONCH expands the concept of chewed punk. After the energetic ''Netuno'', the sweet ''Vampira'' is presented. The second single from his first album “Guardilha Espanca Tato”. Drinking from Radiohead and CAN, MONCHMONCH presents hypnotic and minimalist music that grows little by little, like a tide that swallows you without you noticing. The lyrics anticipate the album's overall mood of compressed vitality, a concept catalyzed by the clip. Directed by Marina Mole, the audiovisual production of ''Vampira'' allows you to feel a mysterious and morbid atmosphere where Monch and the band members hide from the vigil and seek escape. The narrative was worked on top of German expressionism, using as reference old horror films like ''Nosferatu'' and ''The Hands of Orlac'' to represent the character. ''The lights on the battlefield in the clip are always moving, and every time something comes into view, something is also in shadow. I think what this means for each one can change, and the narrative of the videoclip seeks this well, that the person who helps to find some meaning in it’’ says Marina. The cover of the single is also made by Marcílio Pires (@vivasuarevolucao), who signs the cover of the first single, ''Neptune'' and the cover of the album. Together, the covers make up a mosaic that anticipates the mood of the album, “Guardilha Espanca Tato” that will be released on April 21th this year.
