Welcome to part 1 of a multi-part overview of what it takes to reseal an M156 V8, from valve covers to lower oil pan. In this video I primarily focus on removing the engine from my ML63 using a Harbor Freight 1 ton engine hoist and 1000lb stand. I will be replacing every gasket I can think of along with various sensors and mounts along the way, especially those that are much easier to access with the engine out.
