Please like and subscribe to enter to win my boat. This is the Andrew Jones a British Youtube creator, living on the east coast of the USA - ArtisticBrit channel introduction video, showing some of what I do. I am a high school teacher living in Northern N.J., USA Originally from Bristol in the U.K. I am a sculptor and Craftsman, Woodworking woodworker, Photographer and Adobe Products user, making furniture, inventions and Boats, while recently beginning to fly my Mavic Pro Drone. I am presently building my one man boat powered by an electric motor, which I will be towing behind me as I travel the entire width of the United States in the summer of 2017. I will be leaving New Jersey traveling over to Illinois then down to Texas then over to Utah Arizona and up to Seattle Washington. I will be meeting my fans and subscribers along the way, taking our boats out on the lakes and rivers, along with my drone to capture everything in beautiful 4K video. Follow me on the journey. These are the methods I used to no longer be on medication for diabetes, high triglycerides, and high blood pressure, using natural foods and lifestyle changes.I have a brand new channel just for a new series of videos on these topics.
This is where I Design, Modify and Create all my different interests and fun projects. From the mundane to the crazy, from electronics to wood working, from breaking and fixing things, to the safe and the not-so-safe. This Playlist is where I do all that stuff. I am into a very diverse range of activities, so this is where most of them will be posted.
I show you how to build a small wood boat, not using marine plywood. Powered by electric, using 2 deep cycle marine batteries and a backup self-made 18650 battery pack, from old laptop battery packs. I begin by assembling the base of the keel and stem for my 8 feet long, non marine plywood boat. I make mistakes along the way and you see how I overcome problems with the build. I laminate the gunwales, and create the designs or the boat plan myself. Slowly building the Heron, named after the base my grand father trained at in t WW2. I used regular old plywood from Home Depot and held it together with Gorilla Glue on all the main structural parts. Pushing the limits of my education in working with wood, (which is zero). I have watched hundreds of hours of people making their own wooden boats right here on YouTube. In fact, my watching history would not lie. The saddest part of this entire build, is that when I am done, I will be giving this craft to one very very lucky subscriber. :( But I am doing this to get more views and subscribers for my channel. It simply has to be done, period. I am more than excited to take this very small boat onto waters right across the USA in a major journey I will be taking at the end of July 2017, meeting my subscribers along the way, exploring the water ways near them. Ultimately ending in a trip out to Seattle Washington to meet the man himself, Mr Paul Elkins.
