If you’ve watched Arcane, you know the sounds of the show are interwoven to the story. Where would we be without bardendinger? A big (and busy) team covers all of Arcane's auditory activity but we were able to grab two of them for the sound design episode of Super Art Power Hour. Meet Brad Beaumont and Eliot Connors, two co-sound supervisors on Arcane who we put to the test in this episode. If you’re not familiar with Power Hour, here’s how it works: We give Rioters a unique challenge to show how they work on a project and flex their creativity. But, they only have an hour. Whatever they create is only for the purposes of this video, it will not become part of something we actually ship. For this challenge, Brad and Eliot start with a scene from Arcane, pull a natural element from a hat, and apply that theme to the scene.
