IIM Nagpur Campus at MIHAN, Nagpur
IIM Nagpur is the 15th IIM amongst twenty Indian Institutes of Management. It was inaugurated in July 2015 by Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharastra. It is the first IIM in the state of Maharashtra. The first convocation for PGP 2015-17 batch was graced by the presence of Hon'ble Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the 132-acre permanent campus in MIHAN. The permanent campus is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in three phases by 2020-21. Temporarily, IIM Nagpur operates from the lush green VNIT campus, located in the heart of Nagpur city. The campus right now has all basic amenities such as classroom blocks, single occupancy hostels, gym, recreation facilities, indoor and outdoor sports arenas, mess, stationery shop and a night canteen.
