Hello and welcome to The Free Black Women's Library YouTube channel!!
My name is OlaRonke Akinmowo, I also go by Uhura, (you who rah)
I am an artist, set decorator, and cultural worker living in Brooklyn, NYC

The Free Black Women’s Library is a social art project featuring a collection of 5000 books written by Black women & Black non-binary authors, free public programming, a weekly Black book swap, and a Reading Club that meets monthly. 
Our Reading Room is located in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, NYC, and is available for reading, writing, co-working, resting, and dreaming, four days a week. All are welcome to come and chill in our space. 

This channel is a fun playful extension of the work I do within the library. 

I share rambly reviews/reactions to films, TV shows, and books, as well as other random aspects of my life and my creative praxis.
