Margin Tianya Zheng | 郑天涯

Margin Tianya Zheng | 郑天涯 (b. 2001) is a neuroqueer performer-composer, interdisciplinary creator, maths-lover, and educator striving for justice, care, and joy.  Musically, they are a keyboardist and composer with particular interest in new music and early European music.  They are also interested in dance, theatre, performance art, poetry, and electronic/algorithmic means of creation.  Margin is passionate about social-ecological justice and human liberation, and they strive for their aesthetic activities (including maths!) to foster community, inspire self-reflection, and make space for collective healing.  They are philosopher, artist, awakener and an ever-transforming soul.  

Margin received a BA in music (with honors) and in mathematics from Haverford College in 2023.  They reside in Greater Philadelphia.
