A 49 year old widow and mother of five Mary Obideh has lamented about the hard way of living she had to ensure. Having met her late husband, an indigene of Benue state, during a peace keeping mission in Liberia, she followed him down to Nigeria in 1994. However, their love story was cut short when he was shot by armed robbers in Asaba  in 2003. This led to his death and she had to struggle with raising all their five children by herself. According to her, life would have been easier if she was in her country, Liberia, as men there are open minded and are willing to support widows with children through marriage. She believes she would have lived a better life with her children if she was in Liberia. Nigerian men are not willing to consider widows with one child not to talk of one with five children. She said they are quick to shy away from responsibilities; therefore, she would rather pick wastes than consider remarrying at her age. In this interview with Legit TV correspondents, find out what she has to say. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Domestic violence and abuse survivors seek your help!
