I have been on the fence about this new direction with Assassins Creed Mirage and how they want to go back to the roots of the first game. I for one, was not a huge fan of the first game, and was only hooked into the series once we got to Assassins Creed II. Most might disagree with this next statement, but I felt that the series truly hit its stride with Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, with Odyssey sticking out as maybe the best game in the Assassins Creed franchise (my opinion).
That said, I have an Ubisoft+ subscription and that means, I have access to Assassins Creed Mirage, so I am going to kick the tires on this new franchise during my lunch today. Lets see how that goes. …...more
