They come for the books, but also so they can work on their reading fluency in english and hindi; for the art sessions; to study. For some, it's the only time they're allowed out of the house. They found us each time the library had to move. A lot of our members don't find their way back. The Community Library Project is intent on preserving the space we have created with the community without threat of eviction or external interference. One of the ways ahead is clearly for the library and community to be in possession of the land on which the library stands.
