Welcome back, beavers.🦫 Beavers are brilliant at building wetlands that provide thriving havens for wildlife. We are pleased to support the Government’s decision to release more beavers into the wild. Working closely with the Environment Agency, Natural England will ensure beaver reintroductions are carried out carefully and sensitively, in the places where they can provide the most benefits to nature and people. Anyone who wants to reintroduce beavers into the wild will need a licence from Natural England to do so.
