🇪🇺 The far right parties win the European Parliament elections. Populist parties performed well in France, Germany and Austria. In France, the National Rally, Marine Le Pen's party, won the elections and received twice as many votes as President Macron's party. In Germany, the extreme nationalist AfD won 16 percent of support and took second place. The ruling socialists are in third place. Despite this, the center-right will retain the largest number of seats in the European Parliament and the socialists will retain second place.
