Those living with spinal cord injuries are more susceptible to complications and often feel inhibited and limit their social interactions. The goal of Burke Rehabilitation Hospital’s Taking Back Control: Neurogenic Bladder and Bowel Management Program is to preemptively address potential bladder/bowel infections and/or complications through intensive patient and caregiver education that can be implemented across the continuum of care and in the community. This video series is made possible by funding from the Craig H Neilsen Foundation Creating Opportunity & Independence grant funding (Grant Cycle October 2021-September 2023).
