A database of 20,926 married couples that is carefully analyzed with a control group reveals that: 1. Sun signs that are in the same element are not more compatible than other zodiac sign relationships! Astrologers are misinforming their clients about this. 2. Moon signs that are in the same element are also not more compatible than other zodiac sign relationships! Another error by astrologers. 3. Sun signs and Moon signs that are inconjunct or quincunx each other, which supposedly are incompatible show a very slight tendency to be more compatible than other zodiac sign relationship! Again, astrologers are incorrect. 4. Venus conjunct or opposition your partner's Mars are more inclined to get married in this database. 5. The relationships that were found are so weak that future research might show that there are no zodiac relationships at all, or perhaps future research will find more complex zodiac relationships. In either case, the widely endorsed beliefs of astrologers are incorrect. In Part 2 of this series we see that the discoveries of psychologists Joh and Julie Gottman are consistent with the findings in astrology. Similarity of the personality and interests of partners is, contrary to popular opinion, is not an indicator of greater compatibility. Psychologists are unable to identify what kinds of people are more compatible, but they can determine with good accuracy whether a relationship will last and be a happy relationship based on how the two people treat each other and communicate with each other.
