Frequently I'll make brief videos detailing my plans for future recordings and video releases on my channels. I also post information regarding my Twitch Streams as well when I am doing them. I may also publish videos of just random musing and other information that may be potentially good to know as well.
The following videos pertain to games that were given to me by someone else to record and make the videos with. This could be publishers, developers, marketing wings, or just some random fan. Some bias may be present with the recordings of these games, though I will try to keep such bias to a minimum.
It is 2024, and there is a whole new slew of games to be played. I didn't plan on covering this year in as much depth as the previous one, but ultimately I ended up reviewing about 2/3's of the entries anyways! Then I went on to record videos for the rest of the games, along with all the failed entries. History repeats itself.
My first year of actually reviewing 7DRLs as opposed to just watching videos of them and/or playing them myself, I actively take part and rating games and showing how they looked at the time when they were released (as opposed to some post-7DRL update sometime later as the case likely was for a lot of the other videos I've done). This playlist consists of all the 7DRLs that I personally reviewed and help score for in 2023. Eventually, these were followed by the other 7DRLs that I didn't review, as well as the 7DRLs that weren't successful. Hopefully the videos will be helpful to both developers looking for feedback regarding their games or people looking to learn about the 7DRLs of 2023.
In 2022 I began to look back at 7DRLs in earnest in hopes of seeing what titles might be worth throwing into the Game Spotlight thread I post in for the Roguelike Steam Group. There were some 7DRLs that I thought were interesting and I felt that they deserved a mention; others though I felt were lacking in some area and I didn't. You'll find all the 7DRLs that I played here. Primarily the first videos of the list are those games I didn't Spotlight; but I begin to jump into those I did later in the list.
There are some games that I play that I don't think are either appropriate for a Let's Play series, most likely due to them perhaps not being entertaining or interesting. I do however might think they are worth showing off though, so single one off videos will appear here for those games. It is also possible that a series will occur in the future too if I change my mind.
