Yoga for Dancers: Commercial by Marja Lankinen
Yoga for Dancers is a class style deliberately built to support dancer health and wellness. Y4D's movement methodology roots in therapeutics through yoga, and every class targets strength training, flexibility, range of motion, joint integrity, structural awareness, recovery, body awareness, and self care techniques. As a former professional dancer, Marja understands the constant rigors and stress dancers see on a daily basis. That is why Y4D classes not only support elite performance but also speak to physical sustainability, mental health, and overall long-term wellness. Through a physical practice set in a community-building environment, Y4D provides the extracurricular tools needed to succeed in one's dance career and well beyond.
