Great Lakes Chapter of The Links, Incorporated

Chartered in 1993, the Great Lakes (MI) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is not-for-profit organization dedicated to community service. Our community programming is focused in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties, with an emphasis on the Metropolitan Detroit area. The Great Lakes Links’ service initiatives focus on The Arts, Health & Human Services, International Trends & Services, National Trends & Services and Services to Youth.

The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of more than 16,000 professional women. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. Members of The Links, Incorporated contribute more than 1 million documented hours of community service annually.
